Lately I feel like I have had a lot of days where I have been "up to here" with my life.
So much seems to go wrong that it is more often wrong than right.
This season of the year has a way of reminding me that even when my life is genuinely difficult, and I genuinely have reasons to be frustrated and angry, my life just isn't that bad.
At a Thanksgiving dinner party that I attended we were asked to say what we are grateful for.
My response was, and still is, what I am telling myself every moment of each day.
"I am thankful for the things that go right."
I have so much more than I remember sometimes. I am blessed in more ways than I can count. I am living a life some people would die for.
The things that go wrong in my life are valid, frustrating, difficult, and painful. But they shouldn't be the focus of my life. Those are the things I am learning from...even when it is hard.
Thank goodness for the good people I'm meeting, the helpful experiences I'm having, the education I'm receiving, the strength I'm growing, and the blessings I am partaking of when I go through hard things.
Keep calm and carry on, right?

1 things to make my day worthwhile:
Yes. Keep Calm and Carry On.... It's "but a moment."
And Christmas is coming! :)
