Perfect Day

I love it when I get to have perfect days.
They don't happen all that often, but when they come, I embrace them and don't question them.
There are a lot of ways to have a perfect day but there are some constants in there too:

1. Great people.  *New friends, old friends, family, good dates, funny waiters, silly kids...all of the above can fit into that category of great people who can make a day perfect.
2.  Fun events/activities/schedules.  *These can be days where all you do is chat with friends for hours, go shopping together, or walk in the park with your love, but whatever the activity it has to be fun, you have to laugh until you cry, you have to smile so much your face hurts, or you have to feel completely fulfilled in your conversation in order to add to a perfect day.
3.  Beautiful weather.  *For me, this cannot be a day of snowstorms or bitter cold.  In order for it to truly be a perfect day it has to be sunny, warm, and wholly pleasant. I supposed that beautiful weather could be perfect in different ways depending on your activities for the day, but for me, I need me some vitamin D for a perfect day.
4. Ending with hopes for more. *If you don't end the day wishing you could have it all over again, just to have it the same way, then it probably wasn't perfect.  Exhaustion, sun-burned faces, scratchy voices, aching abs and cheeks, and running mascara might all be parts of the casualties of a perfect day, but they are casualties I appreciate when the day is so great you just want it to happen exactly as it did again.
If you haven't had a perfect day lately, you really ought to find a way to create one.  Days like that can give a person a totally renewed, completely uplifted, absolutely refreshed perspective on life and how to live it.  And we can all use a little of that once in a while!

I love perfect days! I too wish I could have more days like it and hope that I will have them more often during this upcoming summer!
