I don't have too much to say but there are a few things on my mind.
1) I love the "good old" music. I've recently pulled out some of my favorite stuff that I've neglected for a little while. Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Chicago, Neil Diamond. I love it all. I've been groovin' to it for the past couple of weeks and I am in love. Again.
2) I love Spring. I don't particulary care for random snow storms and rain that comes down in buckets, but I like the part of Spring when the sun actually shines after these long months of gloominess. I love when the flowers are popping out and the air is warm and just a little chilly. Mmmm...I love warm sunshine most of all.
3) I am so much happier at work these days. I don't know what did it, but a couple of weeks ago I sort of decided I just couldn't work the way I have been for the last 3 years. 14 hour days, going to school at night, grading all weekend long, writing emails at 1 a.m. None of those things were actually as productive as giving myself a chance to breathe and taking time for myself. It has made a world of difference in my life and I'm not even sure how I got here. But I like it.
4) Life has a way of working out the way it is supposed to. I'm so glad for that.
5) I have good friends, good people really, in my life.
6) I have a really fun trip coming up that I am SO excited for! I love having something fun to look forward to. Traveling to new places, seeing old friends, getting some sunshine: all things I adore and cherish.
So nothing earth-shattering here. I just wanted to let the universe (and the 3 of you who read this) know that life is good. And I am one lucky girl because MY life is good.
